My mind is like a ticking clock My eyes it’s second hand Creating furrows in my brain Like footprints in the sand. As I watch my thoughts rush on In tunnels to dark to see I sense them in a echoed world Somewhere far from me. My head is just a rail road track Awareness drives my train Switch boards tell me where to go And so directs my brain. Where I journey I cannot tell Lines go on the blink Around the circuits of my head My mind begins to think.
